When the Indian Prince Ioasaph asked his teacher, elder Barlaam, how old he was, he got the answer - forty five. Bewildered, the Prince said he would have guessed at least seventy. The elder said to him that they were actually both correct and added, "I just don't count that time which I spent in the vanity of the world. I cannot count those years of deadness as years of my life." There you see what a new man is and what your "New Man" also ought to testify of.
